About Us

Who are these people?

Advisor Expressions was started in 2016 with the goal of providing personal, unique marketing support to busy financial advisors and logistics professionals. Our President Erika DeBlasi began her marketing career at a logistics broker 20 years ago and then worked in-house managing a creative team for multiple independent broker-dealers. It was clear that a company that could help manage the website, content, emails, social media, and advertising initiatives for these busy professionals would be useful.
Turns out we were right. And it is why many of our clients still use us since the day our doors opened. We are proud to be their outside marketing arm while they focus on running their business.

President and Strategy Alchemist

Erika DeBlasi worked as a marketing executive for multiple independent broker-dealers and was responsible for the marketing, branding, advertising and communication activities for the firms. She started her marketing career working for a logistics broker and has led design teams in a variety of industries.

Mrs. DeBlasi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and a minor in French (because, why not?) from Florida Atlantic University in 2004. Since then, she has worked in design and marketing capacities for a variety of companies, including national publications and the PGA of America headquarters. She has broad experience in print and digital marketing, over a decade in media development, and corporate media management expertise. A background in design, communications and finance makes her an ideal marketing partner. Erika has a Social Media Strategy certification from the MIT Sloan School of Management. She held the Certified Retirement Counselor designation from InFRE, passed the Series 7 securities exam in 2013, and passed the Certified Retirement Education Specialist (CRES) program with National Tax-Deferred Savings Association.

She also is the Chair of the Women United committee of the United Way of Palm Beach County and a member of NTSA.

Design Manager and Project Ninja

Maria is a Graphic Designer. She has an MBA and a Master in Commercial Management and Marketing from ENEB and another one in Design Management from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from the same university and Photography from Zona Cinco College in 2017. Likewise, she has the ability to provide creative solutions, innovative designs and implementation. Maria is passionate about learning new techniques to apply to her projects. She loves being with her son and seeing life differently through him. She also likes to travel, and she believes that this is the best way to grow, exploring different cultures, people and places.

Krystyn Croney-Barot
Project Coordinator and Social Media Rockstar

Krystyn Croney-Barot is a Virtual Assistant with a strong background in customer service, employee management, and social media marketing. She is SEO and Google Analytics trained, plus proficient in content repurposing and research. Passionate about learning, Krystyn is happiest when learning a new skill, language, or platform. When she is not working, Krystyn indulges in her music obsession by going to concerts or curbs her wanderlust by going on adventures with her husband and stepsons.

Contributor, Spells and Content
Grant Balfour is a probability consultant, adjunct professor, community administrator, and editor whose written works have appeared in outlets as diverse as the Weekly World News, Cunard Passages, Kung Fu/Tai Chi Magazine, and the Australian literary journal Cordite. When not consulting his style guides and refining tools for intuition-based data analysis, he travels, dotes upon his children, researches Chinese classics, records original music, and messes about with boats and beehives. He is a (not the) Florida man.
